Yasmin Zaman

Yasmin Zaman's label embodies the personal style and sensibility of the woman behind it. A label, that can be defined in two words ‘simple’ and ‘tasteful’. She uses a lot of traditional handicrafts and tries to revive the ancient crafts by incorporating pure fabrics and classic threads with contemporary silhouettes.

The designer's love for art and textile design dates back to her days as an art student and later as an art teacher at the prestigious Karachi Grammar School where she curated an art exhibition to celebrate 150 years of KGS. Yasmin has studied ceramics, sculpture, and life drawing at the Inverlochy School of Art in New Zealand.
