Masood Kohari, born in 1939 in Pakistan, is a multidisciplinary artist known for his expressive and experimental approach to painting. Emerging from Karachi's dynamic 1960s art scene, Kohari quickly gained recognition for his distinctive visual language that blends figuration with abstract forms. In 1970, he moved to Europe, where he studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris and exhibited at "Galerie Simone Badinier." After completing his studies, he settled in Auffay, France, dedicating himself to his painting practice. Kohari's work reflects a deep engagement with both personal narratives and broader cultural themes, earning him a significant place in the contemporary art landscape in Pakistan and internationally.
