He graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the National College of Arts (NCA) in Lahore in 2005, where he later served as a visiting lecturer in 2007 and 2010. Notable among these are his 2018 show "Shahnama–A Journey Towards The Self" at Chawkandi in Karachi and his 2015 exhibition "I washed the dust of the eyes with blood" at Koel Gallery in Karachi, which explore themes of identity and existential reflection through a modern lens. Manzoor's work extends beyond solo exhibitions to impactful group shows, both domestically and internationally. His contributions to group exhibitions like "Reflection" at Sanat Gallery, Karachi in 2018, and "Kaleidoscope: A new perspective on contemporary Pakistani Art" at Asia House in London, U.K., in 2016-17, showcase his versatility and commitment to engaging with broader narratives in art. His art often incorporates elements of surrealism and narrative storytelling, reflecting a keen observation of social and personal themes that resonate with a wide audience. Throughout his career, Mudassar Manzoor has been acknowledged for his artistic achievements with several awards and scholarships, including the Best Young Painter Award from the Lahore Arts Council in 2006.
